Default Getting RedBull to sponsor an event

So yesterday a few friends and I were at Icer Air. David(Eugene Pooneil [on silverfish]) was sliding in the middle of the two areas and was confronted by a redbull rep. He told us he used to longboard and everything. We talked to him for a good 10 minutes. The guy was really nice, he also wants to come skate with us sometime. Ok, back on to point, he told us that redbull is always lookin to put they're name out and sponsor events for extreme sports. By the way this guy was the "Field Marketing Manager" (or that's what's on the card he gave us) So if you guys are looking to get a race sponsored or maybe get the event on tv some how shoot this guy an email.

I think that we should organize a giant bay area event. I think it would be awesome, because it seems like theres alot of people in the bay area, but theres always some type of conflict involved, but if we plan ahead, we should try for a large show up!

Lulz. That would probably work because you guys always get enough people to join. Maybe I should pick up some leathers so I can race in it.

redBull doesnt see promotional event like a "race" on tunnel road... If they ever decide to sponsor races, it would be big... like million of $ race in the middle of SF... Like they did with the skid road event in Seattle a few years ago...
But they dont sponsor events anymore for now so...
(by the way, maybe not a smart idea to put the dude's cell phone number on this website...)

Having a huge event in Frisco would be pretty sick. I would hella watch that. And yeah, you should probably take the guy's cell number off unless it's like his business cell.

I took a BAD fall on 05/24/08 on Mount Baker in WA. I lapsed into a coma, lacerated my liver, and badly broke my pelvis, etc. I was a hair's breadth from death on the mountain and again later in the hospital. The rehab therapists had to teach me how to do everything again... everything.

I survived that crash because of my helmet. WEAR ONE and send your family and loved ones to the hospital, not the morgue.

but he handed you a card...posting his name and phone number on a website without his permission is a nono.

Regardless...that is pretty cool that he seemed interested enough to pitch it to Red Bull. Maybe we'll Red Bull return to the DH scene

Yeah, tunnel and Farm Hill just wouldn't happen. Too many houses, too much to shut down. Although, I do want to hit Farm Hill eventually. "Twould be sick.

A race in the city would be really sick. And theoretically doable, the first Icer Air was first held on Fillmore street. It got a shitton of complaints (there's a reason that it doesn't take place in the street again) but most of that, I'm pretty sure, were snow related.
