I like the SuperCruiser out of all your choices but customize it with Randal trucks and Krypts or Abecs.

read my long post towards the bottom for the answer to your 2nd question:

But don't discount the Barfoot, either.

why do you think gravity over s9? S9 boards and wheels are pretty good.

I have a sector9 flexi cloud nine and it is a great beginners board the only problem is don't by the complete because the bearings and trucks are horrible. I recomend getting this board with high flat risers (to prevent wheel bite), Independant 166 trucks (randals won't line up with the wheel wells), Kryptonic or abec11 70 mm wheels, and red bones bearings.

My friend rides a Cloud 9 Flexy and R-II's work just fine. He just uses a single thin flat riser and rides 65mm wheels with no wheelbite whatsoever.

No custom wheel wells or anything. With 65mm wheels as long as you don't ride your trucks full loose you should be fine. Also, he's pretty light. 155lbs. That might be the difference. I'm fairly light as well and I have to tighten my trucks up quite a bit when heavier guys ride my board just to ward off the bite.

    Default either gravity or barfoot

The Gravity over the S9 any day of the week! They use *quality* parts
from the start ( not just a pretty graphical deck and then bunk hardware ): wood, wheels, bearings, trucks and the customer service
is great. I looked at many other boards and wound up going with Gravity for my first. I've been very pleased. Can't comment on Barfoot except to say I looked at those but don't care for the shape but there are riders who love those so....

You wise men are all correct, and even so the trucks on gravities aren';t as bad as pivots.

R-II's are still the best, though.
