    Default longboarding pants

    does anyone have any opinions on the best pants to wera when longboarding because to keep from getting really bad road rash I wear thick pants but in the summer those get extremly hot.

    jeans do protect well but when it gets to be 98 degrees they aren't exactly the best thing to wear

    wear shorts and knee pads + elbow pads and shin guards. weel maybe not shin guards

    If you wear any kind of pants in the summer you will be hot.I think you're just gonna have to deal with it and wear jeans.

    CARGO PANTS all the way. They are roomy, have extra pockets, and can be found cheap at department/discount/surplus stores. I never wear jeans when I'm skating.

    khaki pants/shorts for me when it's really hot. Usually shorts for summertime riding.

    when i'm riding steep long speedboarding rins in summer i wear shorts there and take a pair of pants with me along with my protective gear. i put them on at the top of the hill and take them off at the bottom for the walk back up (no liscence or car).

    Look for baggy cargo pants with ripstop fabric (reinforced stitching).

    I was just out shopping and got some Levi's cargo pants. They look cool and are really baggy. I also have some shorts from Old Navy that are good and that store is cheap.

    at our joblot they have these roofers pants with pads all over the legs and butt they work well but are very heavy
    now back to non religious * where\'s my bong

    Jeans. Summer/fall/spring/winter, they're good all year round. If they're "too hot" for you, I demand you hand over your man card for immediate invalidation.

    you people are crazy...it's too hot to wear pants in the summertime here. i just bet my luck on my crash pads...half the time i don't bomb with a shirt on when it's that hot (as dumb as that sounds), or i slap it on, and it goes right back off at the bottom. i usually kick my knee pads down to my ankles on the way back up to let my knees breathe, and the sliding gloves definitely come off...those get a little toasty.

    I just wear thick pants. But if it's too hot you can get some shorts and kneepads.

    all my pants a comfy.. well.. cept like 2 pair. i like comfy clothes, & i like quality.. so everything i wear is comfy & durable. cheap too.

    so i wouldnt know bout the whole uncomfortable thing..
