Longboarding at night

Does anyone else like longboarding at night. My favorite sessions are at night after a few cold ones (or one hot one). Not seeing the ground as much just makes the glide titties. Especially wide, street lit, gently inclined neighborhood streets. Some times I even carry a beer on my board, sh*t its dark anyway...........can you guys relate?

Many times we've drank our fill then taken our boards down the street to this sweet lil hill that we test stuff out on and such, pretty mellow and about a minute's walk away. Being intoxicated really gives it a much smoother feel, and its even better if you try it naked ((make sure the street is like mine and not busy at night)). Nothing beats brew or bud with friends and some late night carving.

love the night rides but i usually do sliding at night as the only steep hills around my area are only for sliding as they usually end at wharves down on the water (i live next to 3 peninsulas). only done bombing 3-4 times at night but it is so much fun!

its just better to ride at night. I find mostly becuase of atmosphere and temperature.

Lack of traffic is also huge
You can bomb with confidence, cuz youre gonna see headlights much earlier than a similiar situation in the daytime

i'm not much for skating drunk...it's fun when you've gotta do it though. i usually burn one before, or while im skating though :o

I took a pintail out last night at around 1 am. Definitely the most fun I have had skating ever. I can't believe i never tried it before. I am definitely doing it evrrynight from now on. The air was crisp and the streets lit.

Skating drunk and/or stoned at night is great.I love having the shopping centers to myself and busting slides on the marble floors in front of the stores, I don't stick the slides very much when im crunked but it's all good.

I just went for a skate (left at about 12:30am) just for a quick loop up to down and back down, good fun, only saw two cars and one sketchy looking running dude who didn't look like a jogger. They only come out at night. Like Stitches's cross dressing tendancies.

like skating as night cause the cool hair, quite. unfornutely i dont have any street lights so if i go out its usually just a 8 oclock session. i think i may go take a short ride now. i cnat ride drunk.

and a shortboarder i once knew was drinking a jones soda when he hit a rock fell bottle shattered into his hand and he had severe bleedding cause he hit a vain. plastic bottles be good though
