John's designs are geared for feet on the board working the trucks and wheels like no other board design I've messed with and believe me, since the 1970's there hasn't been a board "design" on the market that I haven't tried.

Any "true" beginner looking for a good starter board should go FLAT or nearly flat. And when you get up in my age, cruising decks for self generated speeds really don't need fancy construction materials with sloping, arcing, flexing materials.

Here's a boardwalk cruise where I'm holding the camera for close ups. I actually started holding my own cam as of few days ago. Walking the board in many directions with size 13 ft. makes for an interesting view. I've tossed a bunch of unedited videos up for safe keeping on video.google.com. Still looking for a good hand held cam and working on technique to elimate as much chatter as possible.

Imagine an old couple of 70 years old plus blogging to their friends that they walk on the beach for health and exercise. Likewise, my exercise is "skateboarding" switching it up and shredding the boardwalk daily and blogging to skaters the technique that deserves careful examination.

Keep promoting those board developers that want you to see the light with simplicity.

Blix, yours is ready to roll dialed and styled...

The red looks sick, it's the first red one I've done..
Looks like a fat chili pepper....
And garcia, of course the blue is sick as always...
I'm partial to the blue... That's why I keep riding blue ones myself,
but I may have to make myself a red on e here soon....
Now to finish the green and orange ones...

Hopefully I'll get it this weekend, or next monday, the bay area will witness the awesomeness of the balboa, this should be a good spring break.

I think they are, but I'm not 100% sure...

theyre not reflex. none of the pink brand wheels currently in production are reflex
