the UK does not suck, and you wont always get more value for your money buy importing from the states.
Bennet alligators and all sizes of indies are easily available in this country. some vendors have already been suggested.
have you tried any decks to see what you like? if this is your first longboard then it really dosnt matter what you get, as you have no basis for comparison.
I reccomend you visit some shops and try some boards before you fork a load of money. not to mention the length of time it will take to ship something over the pond, AND the bloody customs charge when it gets here.
Someone already mentioned it. Get a friend state side to make the purchase for you and ship it to you vis USPS (U.S. Postal Service). I'm not to sure about online skate shop policies but you may even make the purchase yourself and have it shipped to a friend in the U.S. I just shipped a deck to the Philippines via USPS for $51. It got there in 3 days and more importantly in one piece. I'm not to sure what the details are to ship a package to the UK via USPS but it should be considerably easier then shipping to the Philippines. I had to deal with size limitations (combined total dimensions less then 79 inches) but I believe it varies by country.
Solidstake sucks.
i ordered a board 11 days ago. today i called them after emailing them three days in arrow. after the 6th call some stone answered. when i asked about my order he was like, "soory dude i forgot to ship it". now they are out of the board and the design is no longer being offered. plus they still have not answered a single email.
maybe that is why they have not updated anythink on here since 2006
This is your 7th post about how Solidskate sucks, stop it. You`re only making yourself look bad.
