    Default Krown boards- any good?

hey, Im completely new to longboarding, in fact skating in general. I tried normal skating, and decided to buy a longboard. I bought a krown pintail logo, is it any good?

Probably not top notch but for a beginner it's just great. It wont really matter what you ride until you get good... My first longboard was a lush kuni, a flat 42 inch deck with conventional trucks and 62mm wheels. I loved it, maybe not now but I loved it then... If it feels good then thats enough, don't worry about brand worry about how it feels under your feert...

My friends first board was a krown. He of course upgraded everything on it(randal 180s, seismic blast waves) and stuff because the stock parts suck. That board is actually what got me into longboarding though.

they are pretty low end, but you also dont pay much for it, but any piece of wood with trucks and wheels is fun in my opinion

yes what they are saying is true ^^

i started on one. i liked it for a while. good begginer. but you grow out of it fast. you realy dont get the good longboard feel with those things. i will post pics in a few of what mine looks like now. still ride it! totaly different though. lol also i started my neagbor into longboarding. that is what he rides now except he uses my components. that im not using on other boards.

right now his is set up with siesmic 180 front truck stock krown truck in the back. retro 66 zigzags (red) 78a. and we redrilled his hole pattern in the back so its adjustable it goes back to the tail. i got the idea from someone on here. good one! makes it super flexy! then its like a dancer.

    post pics of both

The decks are ok, the hardware isn't that great. Change the wheels, bearings and bushings out and it will feel a lot better, but hey for a beginner they arnt to bad for too much money. I started out on a Moose 48" pintail and thats what I did and I love the board to death.

haha, very clever. well lets just say one can't really go down from a Krown, that means that your next board will be so much better!

Just got the new board, and if this is a crappy board, I think that Ill save up for a loaded dervish. Im completely hooked, I love the speed, the ride, the rush. I think that speedboarding is comparable to marijuana, which I only did once, but it was righteous.

I just got the board today, and I already have a good 3 or 4 miles on it.

Thanks for the stoke guys. Everyone here influenced me to buy a board, and its really sick.

lol, get ready to regrip that thing. Then the bearings, bushings and wheels will need to go.

Afterwards, some nice randal 180's should fix it.

just be wary of the deck warping...... mine did
