Ode to Longboarding In D Major

early this morning when I woke
the clowdy skies had not yet broke
i grapped some grub and drove to work
only to hang with my boss thats a jerk

i worked like hell and slaved away
and was driving home halfway through the day
on my way my interest took peak
and then a sudden smile climbed on my cheek

you see, summer in Phoenix is a hundred and ten
so i'm trippin and wiggin to longboard again
the storm brings change to cold summer air
so longboarding today is my only care

my 58 with randals and screaming lucky seven's
floats like heaven on gentle 76 gumball abec 11's
I found a hill about a mile long
so now today, ode to longboarding is my song
