Re: Water And Longboard? Question inside
If you havent all ready take out the bearings and lube them up incase they havent rusted already. If they have you should make him buy you new bearings. I don't know what it will have done to the wheels

Everything should be fine except the bearings. Make him buy you new bearings.

Re: Water And Longboard? Question inside
Your bearings might have a problem, I'd take the whole thing apart, dry it all off, relube the bearing. I'd be concerned what the chlorine and other chemicals in the pool could do, it should be fine though, just dry it all off.

Why would you tell an adult to "not f*cking touch something", you had that coming in my opinion

Re: Water And Longboard? Question inside
If you have issues with rust on the trucks you can scrape that off pretty easily. However unless you took care of the bearing with lube and everything right away after they were in the pool they're already rusted out.

The Dad probably doesn't know a thing about skating. #### happens, its not a big deal really, everything should be fine except your bearings.

Like you said, what an asshole.
This steams me because it's complete and total disrespect for someone else's property. VERY uncool.
If it were me, I'd make good and sure those bearings were rusted, then make him pay for new ones. GOOD ones.
GRRRrrrr...

PS And props, for skating three hours to your friends' place!

Re: Water And Longboard? Question inside
I'm still not sure why he did. It seems like a random thing to do.

Just make him buy Ceramics Full ceramics... then you don't have the problem :P

Re: Water And Longboard? Question inside
True, you could always completely exagerate the cost of your bearings and get a little extra cash out of him.
Except for the moral implications its a great plan.

Good eye!
Air Force file photo, I think it's a period snapshot. Could be a random base anywhere in the southwest (I like to think it might be Cal Aero aka Chino, just 'cuz it's local).
You might appreciate/be amused by the attached.
Been seeing your aviation posts on the 'Fish, been thinking of touching base w/you anyway, lol. I'm much more of a vintage/props/pistons guy (can't really get into jets), but anyone who's into things that fly is a friend of mine.
