So currently I have two boards. A Never Summer Norad set up with Paris 150s, 66mm Strikers and RockNRons Ballistech Rockets AND a Landy Wedge flex with RII 180s, Big Zigs and Bones Swiss.
Heres where I need help. While I like both boards, everytime I ride my friends Vanguard Im just a bit jealous. My friends love that I have two boards (especially the ones who dont have a board haha) But since we are starting to get more of my friends into it, Im sure I would have absolutely no problem selling both of my setups to them. Should I do it and get a Dervish?
My one friend said he would take the Norad ASAP for 130. I got it for about 145 added all together so thats not too bad.
My nephew really likes my Landy (all my friends seem to like the Norad alot more) and he has been looking into getting a board. I was thinking about offering him the board and trucks for 100 to help him out (hes just entering HS... I paid almost 2 bills for the complete setup) and saving the pink bigzigs for the dervish. I'd probably just tell him to order some Flashies and Reds cuz thats prob the best bang for your buck.
I am pretty sure I would set the dervish up with chargers, 76mm flys, and biltins. You guys like that setup? I also gave the Hustler and Bigfish some consideration.
What do you guys think?
Sorry for the long post, Im just feeling the stoke and excited about potentially spreading the stoke a lil more to my friends.
Dude, go for it. The Dervish sounds to be an amazing board, of course. I just got my Hustler, and I like it and all, but I wish it wasn't unidirectional. I mean, it looks cool, and it has a really great feel. But, since I want to try tricks and what not, it'll be interesting... Probably easier for the Dervish.
