mongo is the fastest type of pushing. the only reason that it is frowned upon is because it is substantially more difficult to foot brake at speed as opposed to someone who pushes regularly. while mongo may not ALWAYS be the fastest way to push, if two people at equal pushing skill levels were to race (one mongo, one regular), the mongo person would win.

While I am not defending that other guy, prove to me that mongo is faster. name the research, the data, the statistics that show mongo is faster. To me it is all the same it is the same motion more or less for mongo or regular or goofy for that matter. All the best.

mongo is basicly where you ride regular meaning (left foot forward) but instead of pushing with my right foot Mongos push with their left foot! (even thou i footbreak w/ my right foot) so basicly that stupid hump in the middle is like standing on a bar trying to balence!

it is easier to push fast mongo because most of your body is behind the board not beside it making all of your energy go directly into pushing straight and not at an angle. Look at the push starts of downhill races this year and you will see a lot of people pushing Mongo (I think Duala was the impetus for this) to get the fastest start possible
Finally after 15 days of wait I got my Pagan Drop.I put some Randals 180s 50º (Flipped Back,Standard front) and S9 Goddess of Speed Wheels.Feels like a dream..

look, i really dont care to argue. thats just what i have always been told. sorry for being wrong. and being a lefty, i cant mongo with my left foot on the board and push with my right, it just doesn't feel comfortable to me.
