um they help absorb road vibrations and what not......otherwise its your choice..not a necessity. and get bones reds or mile high skates bearings. 8)

People get them to protect the deck's finish. Keeps the baseplate from directly rubbing on the deck. You can get it if you want, but imo not necessary.

i put 1/16th inch shock pads on mine, just to keep the baseplate from rubbing the bottom of my deck.

Well come on by and finish it out for me. OR... I've got the hardware stripped off a BC pintail that's not on the rack (yeah, there's a couple more). You're going to have your way with it.

hell yeah! im still learning from my mistakes that i made on my other boards that im doing, (like painting outside, newspaper blowing all over my board and random ants getting stuck in it) so its probably not gonna be perfect, but not horrible, give me a pic of what you want on it, and i'll make a stencil

Let me repeat myself (which is my least favorite thing to do ) ... You'll just do what ever the board tells you when you get your hands on it and start prepping. That's when the good shiz happens. It might have to sit in the corner and stare at you for awhile until you get an epiphany. Kind of how I garden too. Buy something because I like it but then it might sit around in a pot for days or weeks until I know where it's supposed to go. You'll have carte blanch my friend.

hmmm... you said you like graffiti right? well, i'll probably do some graffiti on it, letters are super fun, but tend be a bit of work on a board with a brush, i may have to get out the paint pens and a can or two of spray paint, the problem is all i have is black and blue...
