Installed new brake pads this weekend, and found that both of my current rotors were warped.
Cars are coffins, just board everywhere! I sold my car and used proceeds to buy my Pug.

This is the first board I have owned and only the second that I have ever ridden, but so far I love it too. I am just getting used to how turny it is. The first board I rode is on angled risers and tight trucks, so when you push it stays moving directly ahead even if your weight is shifted slightly. Not this baby, if you aren't balanced when you push it'll make a hard turn. But it is smooth and quick and carvy. Awesome.

New Rayne Timeline arrived today!

How does that setup feel? Rayne sent me a mini that looks like the size of a timeline and I have yet to set it up. I was thinking of benetts and some stimulus or 69mm raceforms.

I still haven't had a chance to use it properly. I've literally done one shallow hill and it was wet so wasn't carving all that hard. But from that it does feel like it will be a lot of fun. Very responsive. It actually feels a little twitchy, but I'm sure that is just because I'm not used to it. I've got blue/red (f/r) Khiro upgrades which feel pretty good. The wedging and soft risers I have make the board quite high and it feels odd, but, again, I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I'm not going to be able to get and and give it a proper run for another 2 days. it is killing me
People need to quit worrying (or even caring) about which company is cool, or core, or whatever label you want to pin on them. A lot of so-called "bro-brah" companies are run by assholes.
