You understand why, right? Pedal choice on high-end bikes is somewhat personal, so most folks would rather not pay for a pedal they'll never use.

i dont know what it costs i just gave her my amex and she picked it out at the local bike shop.i have to get the pedals now what a pain on the ass.
she traded in her old bike for a discount though so i am glad she is thrifty

check out Look Keo pedals they have a larger platform. i think they are the most comfortable clipless pedal on the market

well its a road bike, so the pedals are going to be kinda small. I personally like any kind of shimano pedals they feel great under my feet. But if she is ridding in flip flops, maybe an nontraditional pedal would suit her better.

By the way, nice choice on the cannondale.

EDIT: Forgot to say the shimano PD-7810 pedals are wider than the rest, so that would prolly be the best choice if you were to go with shimano pedals. Come on you got to keep it matching, you got shimano everything else.

I agree on the shimano pedals used to ride them when I raced

Bad part is slipping a pedal and raking your legs got plenty of scars from that

I broke a couple of pedals in my BMX, bad scars on the leg because of that as well. Sucks more when your sole doesn't grip into the pedal and you slip..

No doubt and when clipless hit the scene and kids used to go over the bars followed by a prompt tire to the back of they're head

One of my friends snapped his one-piece crank (something I'll never do. Three piece cranks all the way). The nub shanked him in the leg and he had to get 9 stitches.

Mine happened when I was running from the police.. I was standing on the pedals, and it broke, my feet touched the asphalt and hit the pedal.. 2 stitches.
