Wow - really?
What kind of trucks were they? (I still have my stock kingpin in my Bennett!)
I wouldn't think there would be that much force on a kingpin.. I've broken kingpins in my shortboarding days, but that's surprising to me!

My Roggs deck showed up in the mail today... 2 weeks + 1 day from Canada to Indiana. I was so stoked to put it together and take it out. What a fun board! The trucks are a lot looser than my mini-carve. So far I've just taken it across campus and down the parking garage a few times. I tried some cross-stepping, but my legs aren't doing well enough on the looser trucks yet. I think I'll give them a few days to get used to the new flex. Needless to say, everyone on campus was staring at my board as I went by. On a normal school day, pedestrian slalom might be tricky.

no those are good but the ones everyone raves about are the solid Blue not clear red

but a Hellcat complete (Grizzlys, monster hawgz, bones swiss)
and a pair of Otangs.

Next purchase after this will be some leathers and a full-face.

Hell no, those suck . They do slide nicely, but are sluggish like nothing else on flat ground.
But for trashing around sliding they are nice enough.
