i agree. mine are 73a single barrel.
I consider longboarding to be an art form, lifestyle and a sport... and thus the stoke of longboarding spreads but alas I live in the northwest where it rains all day and night.

Agreed, weight can just give you an idea what the norm is.
Hell, I rode Eliminators on my Dervish... 85a bottom 78a top. Fun, turny, with the Elim lean I love. Thats what I plan on putting on my Knuckleduster

But hard is a big difference from soft, and why nothing in the elbow? Are you not getting the back pad either?
I guess hard knees would be nice. What's the back pad?

170mm hangers
40* baseplate
10mm axles
flippable hanger
no spherical
there like stupid low on a drop-through haha I just put them on my friends hellcat, and its like the lowest drop-through ever!
The trucks look heavy, but they are a lot lighter than i expected and i compared the weight to some fast track 180's and you can feel the difference in the santoro's being lighter. I havnt gotten a good chance to take them up to speed or anything yet, but they feel very solid and quality made!

None what so ever, if your referring to how comfortable your leathers will be. Neither will hard knee pads, or soft elbow pads. If you measured right, your NJKs should be TIGHT when you first get them, so much it might be uncomfortable, or difficult to tuck/get into a drop knee position. After wearing them for awhile they will break in and everything will feel more normal.
