After wearing them for awhile they will break in and everything will feel more normal.
What's the point of the back pad then?

there like stupid low on a drop-through haha I just put them on my friends hellcat, and its like the lowest drop-through ever!
The trucks look heavy, but they are a lot lighter than i expected and i compared the weight to some fast track 180's and you can feel the difference in the santoro's being lighter. I havnt gotten a good chance to take them up to speed or anything yet, but they feel very solid and quality made!
Sounds pretty sweet man, nice choice then.

Its soft and is a cushion to your vertebrae, just as your soft knee pads are to your knees...combined with an under leather, strapped on back protector could prevent some pretty serious spinal injuries. You would be like a turtle.
I dont think enough downhill skaters consider how vulnerable and exposed your spine is, especially in an impact with a car or guardrail going into the spine.

some 187 pro kneepads, and all of MHM's silver kingpin nuts
and some more wood glue. mmm something is in the press... yum! all my finishing supplies are sitting just waiting to make that cat purr down my street.
pressing the a new deck is like puting cookies in the oven, they smell great, but you can eat them right away. they have to cool first, then be drowned in milk. the waiting game sucks.

dyed wheels look so lame to me, I've yet to see a set dyed just right.
