I must know how these ride. Let me know when it stops raining.

I live in the Northwest, hasn't stopped raining here for a week now. I can push with my board sideways with how much water is on the ground.

They're quite nice actually. I can't compare them to an O'Tang, but compared to a like Zig of the same size, the slide is quite a bit..nice. The Zigs feel like they have a super harsh, dry slide that makes it feel like you're getting the teeth shaken out of your head.

Hmm... Any other comparisons? Hah. Alligators, Strikers, Flys? I don't have the Zigzags, and have never ridden on them, but my lime bigzigs slide much smoother than you say your experience with zigs was. They're not slide wheels though, and I only really predrift with them.

yo dude, im pretty much a beginner to dh, how to you pre-drift successfully? i always find myself etting off balanced when i try.. have any techniques that u'd like to share with a fellow fish?
I skate because there's no Facespace, no Mybook, no Twatter, no eMail, no television, no commercials, no celebrities, no zillion dollar sports teams. No bulls--t whatsoever... It's just me, the pavement, one deck, two trucks, four bushings, four wheels, eight bearings, and some mounting hardware. My very own little race car, my own flight simulator, and it feels f--king great.

Practice. The day I started drifting I tried unsuccessfully for 4 hours before I started to get the hang of it. You can read 100 different posts on Silverfish describing exactly how to do it, but without practice, you'll never be able to.

Also, the loaded vid is alright watching.

The first time I tried drifting i went into a heelside turn with a good amount of speed, got in position, turned hard, and started drifting without putting my hand down... so I just went with it. Guess I'm lucky. Heelside drifts are really natural to me, toesides are causing me a bit of trouble though. Haven't tried predrifting or pendying yet
