And by the way, before I get my eel custom (3 weeeeeeeks

), do you think I should buy some loaded drop through risers for it? They're very small and come with washers.

Also, do you need to put a few small washers under each nut when you mount trucks drop through?

Yess! I would highly suggest it, i cracked my bamboode that way, so yes flat head screws shock pads. washers under each bolt is a must for
me now

Just take some soft risers and cut them up so you can put them on top of the deck, under the baseplate when the trucks are dropped through.

You don't need to use washers, but they'll keep the nut from digging into the wood. You could use some Rogers Bros drop through risers instead of washers for convenience. I use that and it works fine.

I mounted mine this way, but I'm hunting for something to use for smallish rubber washers. Probably just use the remainder of the rubber I have between the deck and washers. Hope I can get 8 from it!

yep its a balsa core rum runner with randal 180s eliminators and bigzigs...its wierd i hav never had a board this solid before so every time i go over a decent sized crack or bump id say an inch and a half or so,,, the board feels like it going to explode. its accualy a pretty cool ride

pick up some water faucet washers at the hardware store. made out of hard rubber and are usually black or red. look in the plumbing section.

yah it will be, i've been there haha. but I am a free style skier, so when i go do my thing i get hella sweaty.long johns with underarmor underneath with a fatty hoodie on top. it does the job.
