Much different. As difficulty increases, they don't add buttons like guitar hero, instead it's scratching, then directional scratching, and crossfader spikes (which are a bitch). I've worked my way through on Medium and the jump to Hard is difficult but still fun! I enjoy it more than GH because I like this kinda music (Daft Punk, Justice, Eric Prydz) a lot. I can describe it as "Similar to Guitar Hero or Rock Band, except I feel less retarded, and WAY more geeky."
