I STILL have my v.1 P-Rods that I got when I first started skating back in March 2008 and I have ripped through the right sole but everything else is holding up. Footbrake soles are pretty great.

what board and wheels?
my two setups are
avenger, crails, lemon/lime combo, 70mm wheels
avenger, crails, orange/pink combo, 72 mm wheels
3 inch kingpins with the nut almost flush with the end of the kingpin
no wheelbite

Bombhills, 72mm wheels. Maybe i need harder bushings... but I don't really want to buy another set. I'm really considering buying some used Zealous.

I tried tightening it flush.... I was able to make it bite pushing with my hand.

well wheelbite isn't the big issue here, when the part of the bushing pops out, it doesn't pop back in, it stays pinched out there and doesn't return to center.

what are you using it for, because if your using it for dh, you'll usually be sliding before you bite

That's tight! How'd you like the ride so far? My Bombhills was in the rotation tonight. I got some used black Tarantulas in today so I cleaned/lubed the reds that came with them and put on the BH and made a few carving runs. I like my BH and SuperFish.

thanks brah, i took it for a spin after loosening the trucks a little. still not what i want to ride on. i really need to save up or get hand-me-downs trucks and wheels. and FOR SURE need to lube it up until that day where i get wheels and trucks.

dude, just freaking experiment. what sounds better, 300 bucks wasted on a set of trucks to fit bushings
or 10 bucks wasted trying to find the right bushings for your 50 dollar trucks

I wish it was their money. And also I've had bad experiences with cast trucks for a while now. My bears don't fit a JimZ on top. Bottom is good.

Crails don't turn with JimZ, and pinch barrel bushings apperently.

And Randals are like bears, fit a bottom JimZ okay, but the top had to be cut to fit.

I've owned all of these and have had white JimZ's As well as Venom Dh, and Khiro barrels on each of them.
