here's something for you guys to drool over... A double drop insect mosquito in their new layup. I believe this is one of the first off the line, if not THE first. Medium Flex.

Why would you want a flexy dropped board?

Call me stupid, but wouldn't that just bottom out all the time? (and not in a fun-look-at-me while-I-bounce-on-this-loaded-dervish-while-doing-kicky-flippies)

It has camber in it. I think its supposed to have a fairly stiff flex relative to body weight also.

why would you double droop it if your going to raise it with camber? seems like an odd combination of traits to me.

you would DD it with camber because...its odd...? i dont know, Insect might be just trying anything at this point. i hope he finally got it right. they do look like nice boards, and i would hate to see them go under.

Look at the website. It says it has camber. The camber doesn't start after the drop, either. The whole length of the board is bent into camber. And yeah I hope they got it right

I enjoy it, its a different feel for sure, it really flows. Originals are a little more maintenance heavy than other boards (because of the trucks) but what I was showing off in the picture was the bungee, Ive had the Apex since May
