I'm hoping that if I just keep them on a cruiser (no sliding, just footbrake) I can make them last. I have set of In Heat's that I just used on a cruiser setup and they' ve lasted this whole year (I skate commute everywhere, everyday). I'm sure if I raced on them I could smoke them in 4 or 5 runs (spent a set of Speed Vents that way at Larch Mt this year).

Those speed vents shredded like nothing.

On topic: I picked up a set of these yesterday

In regards to the purple Avilas: Are these Grapey Apes, or the Black Ops 81A wheels? If they are the Black Ops I have these, and so far so good. Numerous downhill runs with no problem. Fast and grippy for sure. I have not slid them yet for fear of tearing up the lips. The lips are real thin, and as long as I dont abuse them they should hold up fine.
    Wrecking sucks.

ya but brian put out the discount to try and find the next shape possibly of the MM2. Having a template would shatter the creativity he is trying to harvest. Maybe after the release.

I guess those are Sennheisers HD 428. how are they? just got an incredible deal on a pair of 280 HD PRO. these are awesome.

couldn't gather the courage to spend more money and get the HD 25-1 II. I'll probably regret it.

depends. for bass i would go with the sony-MDR XB300,500,700. i personally have the 500 and its AMAZING pump up the volume on any bass song and it vibrates your head and the ear pads are like when you sit on a poofy leather couch except its on your ears. if these ever break im going to try out the 700's and see if there any bassyer
