Jon Nuzzi speaks the truth! I've heard varying accounts contending the strain died out in the sixties or nineties, but all seasoned tokers recognize it's demise. All current "purple haze" are growers attempts to cross-bread a similar strain, but they have nothing to compare it against, so no one can ever know how accurate it is.

Or it has chemicals in it. Know your dealer.
