I'm not following you.
I get guys in Subis and Volvos and expensive Audis and Cadillax and Mercs and BMWs and even ######' modified semi trucks to race me, and I've NEVER had one Lancer or Evo play around. I even have the privilege to say that I've had traffic-based fun with an Audi R8.
I HATE it when people buy fast cars (or just fun cars for that matter) and drive them slow as hell (I'm talking to you, Corvette owners). This leads to believe that 1) Evo owners are just slow people, 2) Evos aren't fast so they just can't go fast, or 3) All of the above.

What do you drive? I'm not afraid to push it on the freeway but the country back roads is where I really let it loose.

5D is an awesome camera(first camera in our current production), looks like a nice computer setup in the background as well.

Ordered the 550D since we're just borrowing the 5D for this film. Now I just need to find out what lenses I'm gonna get.

1) thats not an evo, its a non turbo'd lancer(not even a ralliart). 2) depending on what you drive, maybe evo owners dont think you are worth the gas (i dont race people i know i can demolish). 3) maybe you just live in a place where evo owners dont like to race.. 4) evos are far from slow, theyre faster and outperform most cars on the road...

ok so you drive a focus with 170 hp and 145tq stock and maybe you did a little bit to it (i may be wrong, google has ####ed me over before)... look at an evo's specs, and then take into consideration that most are not stock, and then compare it to yours... you think you have a chance even if an evo did decided to play with you and the driver knew how to shift correctly?

Yea I used to have the 5D and sold it for the MkII for the HD Video.. This camera was a real game changer for guerilla/indy filmmakers.. no longer have to spend $50,000 on an entry level Red One. Im getting the 7D as well.

Racing cars has pros and cons:
pros
fun, gives a reason to buy a nice car
cons
dangerous (I know you might not care about yourself but how would you feel if some prick rammed your car with you inside at 110 on the freeway), makes you look like a douche that needs to prove something or compensate for something else.

Carbon fiber rims are a joke, just like your boy and his BMW! haha

The ONLY cars that can justify them are F1 cars. Other then that, waste of money.
