I apologize that I don't have a pic of a fully finished board... I finish them and ship them out. I always forget to take the pic. Anyway... here are some mostly done creations haha. (except the bottom one. That was a one off aluminum version)

I like bigger wheels on my avenger/ kahas combo. Moster hawgs, blast waves, superballs, speed vents. I tried 70mm zigs and don't like them, they scrub speed fast on the flats.
But to each is own, everybody is different.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!

I got it from a machine shop that cut it. They used a water jet. It rode awesome until the aluminum bent a little. Now it's super springy. A good learning eperiene... I know how to improve it but it's a little epensive to just test with.

That's entirley untrue. Maybe you don't notice it, but I can totally notice a difference in pushing and foot braking when going from 75mm to 70mm wheels. The difference becomes even more apparent the longer I spend skating the same set-up....

I have been racing a LBL tarpon with Smokeys and bigzig/otangs with a rubber riser (not for additional height but for dampening), the deck is 4 inches off the the ground.

Since Mary I have been on a LBL CF Hollow core, Munkae's and otangs and again a soft rubber riser. 4 1/4" off the ground.

I noticed on the first push that the hollow core was higher, I had to reach farther to get to the ground. I have never had any problem with wheel bite, both these decks will handle a 83mm fly

I personally do not like a wheel smaller than a 75mm for DH. I only use a smaller wheel for some slalom. On most public road conditions the bigger wheel absorbs the shock better. As a big boy the more urthane I can get the better. I need the biggest contact patch I get and a distrorted 76mm wheel does just that. I generally do not like the Flywheels because of the large core but for non race messing around the S9 80a 81mm has a LOT of thane to play with. I would love a 83mm bigzig.
