Re: JimZ speed bushings
depends. I had them in crails on a hellcat. While they were really stable, they couldn't turn AT ALL. I prefer my trucks turny, so i don't really like them.

I totally agree about the jimz bushings being stable but not turny because of the size of them...if you are using crails and want turny truck just use venom downhill bushings or any other barrel.

Re: JimZ speed bushings
Yeah...thats what happens with Crails and 25mph runs, the crails dont turn. Because crails arent meant for cruising, or slow speed.
Jimz turn great in a lot of setups, like 42/42 randals.

Agreed. Jimz on 42/42 randals can be very 'turny' but also hold enough rebound to keep them stable. definitely worth it.

Re: JimZ speed bushings
Alot also depends on your weight. Due to jimz bushings only coming in 1 duro, they may or may not suit you. I feel like they turn plenty for me in whatever trucks I have them in, enough even to rail garage corners on a buttboard. But then I am 190 lbs.

Re: JimZ speed bushings
jimz bushings are not worth it.
almost no rebound, and they fall apart super easy

mine were TOO turny
felt like a floppy c.ock

Re: JimZ speed bushings
How can a truck be too turny?
Get them if you are doing actual 40+ mph, if its just for garages and cruising they don't turn enough imo. Though honestly I like venoms and karrot reflex/abec11 bushings more... and they're both cheaper.

Re: JimZ speed bushings
worth it if you use them for the intended purpose .
i have to agree with pat for garages, just daily riding around then id say no.
mksuen, jim z come in 2 duros, the whites are softer then blacks

Re: JimZ speed bushings
I think you should get some White ones and mess around with them, they are the only bushings like them. I didn't think they did much compared to standard bushings on my randals, but I like them on my grizzlies. To me they have a strong return to center (rebound?) which makes it easier to hold a desired line through high speed corners (vs a floppy dead bushing which relies more heavily on your ankles to control the board angle). I have some boards with dead floppy bushings which gives me faster board tilt control, and a Hellcat with JimZ's which seem to make it more predictable but require a harder lean to turn the board. If you like to mess around with set-ups, then definitely get some (only $25).
