You'll have more of a chance in S'pore.

Unfortunately M'sia changes trends like dirty underwear. I couldn't even find a decent skate shoe in Kuala Lumpur on my last trip.

Not sure, you might wanna check out the 'Longboarding in S'pore' thread. As far as I know there is nothing in Malaysia... except for those who live overseas, buy boards and come back every now and then like i do.

Just by assumption though, sorry. Think the 'scene' is bigger in S'pore.

I'm not sure about singapore but its true that there's nothing in malaysia. there are skateshops but even then they aren't even all that good. I was back there recently in january and february. You'll find that its impossible to find any longboard trucks, wheels or decks.

I know this is probably too late but just thought that maybe others who chance upon this thread might be interested. You can get SOME longboarding stuff in KL, Malaysia. Cool Element at Sungei Wang Plaza has one longboard. It's a Santa Cruz. They don't carry wheels. They mostly stock for skateboarding. Stuffs like bearings and bushings are not a problem. They stock quite a variety. =)

The scene in Singapore is definitely much better. There are a few stores around in Singapore (SG). Namely Spitfire Skate, Go Sports, Interstate, Miz-29 and Roller Plus. Do a search for them on Google and a link to their webby should turn up. In their webby, they have directions on how to get to their stores. Each store stocks a different variety of goods. In SG, though the scene is much better than M'sia, the market is still small. So each store specialises in certain brands and tend to carry limited stock.

Spitfire carries a wide variety of goods so do check them out. They are the distributors for Loaded and Otangs. They also carry Sector 9s. =) So yeap! There's quite a variety there and the staff are really friendly.

Go Sports carries Gravity boards the last I checked.

Interstate carries Original boards. So yeap!
I skate to be one with the World. For when I skate, I am the World.
