what's in the works for Gravity? Curious to see if there's anything outside the surfstyle culture in the future perhaps?

We are in the process of working on some new boards right now, downhill boards included. Keep your eyes peeled!

At this point, we do not have any symmetrical freeride boards in the works but we are designing some new freeride style boards. We are hoping that by Spring we will have a couple solid new boards in our line. I will pitch the idea of a symmetrical board though, it never hurts to try!

I feel you Steve, I think he is a little hesitant because so many new companies are entering the market with downhill boards recently. That sounds intriguing though, I would like to hear more of your ideas.

Well since a majority of our clientele is part of the surfstyle culture so we aren't planning on steering too far from that, however we would like to expand more into the downhill scene. The whole scene is growing immensely and we think we could offer some functional boards to the market.

I have used contact cement in the past and it worked really well. Another option is Gorilla Glue, which also works well, but it expands when it dries. If you use this I would suggest cleaning up the excess with a razor blade and sand paper. From my experience these two have worked the best for me, but I am sure there are more options as well.

Thanks for the support! I believe we are only going to keep one graphic for that board but we are always thinking about new ideas, thanks for the input.

Re: Official Gravity Skateboards thread!
If Gravity came out with a symmetrical drop deck freeride board, a SWB topmount, and a slightly larger p36 for dat hybrid skating, I would go back to riding exclusively Gravity in a heartbeat.
Actually, I would kill for just one of those boards from Gravity.

Re: Official Gravity Skateboards thread!
How about a slightly shorter (maybe 40"), stiffer variant on the Drop Kick for downhill/freeride? Also some combination speedboard/topmount double kick. And a rocket-propelled Hypercarve for carving uphill?

Dude that board looks mean! I bet that thing kills any terrain with that setup, looks like too much fun.

I like the rocket propelled Hyper Carve idea but there might be some liability issues there, you might need to make that one yourself haha. However, we could handle some of those other ideas...I think you are really going to like some of the new stuff we're working on.
