I imagine that Oak Park Rd and Parkwild Dr would both be good as well (don't let Google maps fool you, they don't actually connect). I haven't learned to slide yet, so I'm still baby steppin' it at this point. The rust doesn't shake off so easy after 15+ years.

in order of grade

Grandma Death- Aprox 40th-33rd street along cumming. Start at Mercer Blvd and follow it along cumming down to lincoln blvd, lincoln is all smooth blacktop and carves along the edge of bemis park. Not very fast but acceptably long and chill.

Dundee- Start at corner of Western and 51st. All nice downhill new blacktop till Underwood. Gets gradually faster and then about a half block to slow down at the bottom. Theres also good single block slide roads east and west of 51st on Izard.

Faithful- Parking Garage downtown at corner of 12th and Capitol. Its a Union Pacific parking garage thats supposed to be secure. At night theres only ever a janitor there thats been cool. Pavement is a little rough but theres fast elevators to the 8th floor all night long. They put it into "lockdown" at night but the glass door next to the entrance on capitol street is broke and usually isn't closed all the way. If it is just yank hard and it opens.

Mosi- Aprox. 120th and Miracle Hills. Two runs, ones more chilled out and less traffic. Go from corner of Miracle hills and Nicolas st follow Nicolas down to 115th. Wide concrete streets through business park. Other run is straight down Miracle hills its all carving fast blacktop ab 35-40mph cruising with traffic.

156- Start at the corner of 156th and Howard. Multiple runs through the neighborhoods all varying speeds and lengths. Fastest is follow Howard all the way down. Also good is to take howard to Jackson Dr and jackson down.

When I get back it is on!!!! The Hellcat will be good on some of our crazy hills. Slide sessions galore. We will need to hit up Beaver Lake and the Sanctuary for some drift action. We also will have to explore more spots. I think a road trip on some country roads is in store.

Has anyone mentioned Robert's skatepark yet? It's on 78th and Cass.

Robert's is great when it's not overrun.
Fontenelle Hills is great all over for fast drifty stuff (just watch out for cars and potholes).
Along Bellevue Blvd-- Camp Gifford Rd and Chaput Drive are two PERFECT streets for slide sessions. Pretty long and REALLY steep.
For a decently long bomb with little traffic (I've only hit it up at night, but it's well lit)---Spring Lake Drive off of 13th Street. Coming from Bellevue going towards Downtown, it's the first left after the old bridge going to Iowa (before Rosenblatt). Just follow the road all the way up and there's a neighborhood to park in.

I've only tried Camp Gifford Rd from about 3/4 of the way up. Probably the fastest I had ever gone (I haven't learned how to slide or speedcheck yet) so I decided to leave while still on a positive note. I go to Robert's all the time and the shortboarders let me use the whole snake (probably because I let them try out my board all the time) Is there any other bowls around Omaha? And I am definitely going to try out Spring Lake Dr now, but probably around 2 AM with no traffic...

Great indoor park with a nice bowl.

Vinny's skate park has a great bowl. It's pretty much a wood swimming pool. Camp gifford road is pretty intense as well. IMO i thought the road was a bit rought at the bottom. Spring lake road is a good one as well. I know of a hidden trail but am not sure of its exact location. It's on the other side of the interstate from Paypal (harrison street?) in a neighborhood west of the car dealership right there. Really windy and steep. I ate it once riding at night. Memorial park has a quick fun run. Fontenelle hills is a lot of fun but the roads are not in the best of shape. There are plenty of country roads out there with some bombability (is that a word?). Just too many places to name. plenty of trails that are fun too. Miracle hills is a great run with all of the businesses on either side. 124th and miami has a really smooth trail in their park. if you fall it is in the grass so it doesnt hurt. more to come as i remember them!!!!!

haha to be honest, i always thought about taking off the trucks of my boards and trying to hit the snow....hahaha it probably wouldnt work out to well

i also have my surfboard out here with me (im from the east coast, and yes i know, why do i have a surfboard in nebraska, but its my baby, it goes where i go) and i could take off the fins and try that.,..but i love it too much haha
