Two foot, ten foot.... the funs the same, all I'm looking for is a smile.... and it's riding a board that does it for me, it's not necessarily the size.

Thats next on my list! I think Shorty McSmalls has. YouTube has a couple of videos from there. Looks like a killer ride! I can't wait to give it a try.

I have ridden Mt. Scott. It is a great ride, although there are a few quirks to keep in mind. It is going to be busy on weekends and riding should usually be done before noon if weekends is your only opportunity. During the week is less of a hassle. It's about a 5 minute ride from top to bottom and reaches speeds up to 50 mph (which is double the posted speed limit). Spotters would be helpful but not necessary. If a car is headed down before you start your run give them a few minutes head start because you will catch up to them. Give it a go a shoot some footage.

The one out by lawton, its pretty sick. I think someone posted some youtube videos in this thread a few pages back maybe. I used to mountain bike up there a lot before I started longboarding now I'm wanting to go out there real bad on my board.

I know this is an old thread but me and a group of guys that go to OBU in shawnee hit up downtown OKC every sunday afternoon after church, weather permitted that is...but we've been talking about starting a club here at our college and would be more than interested to meet some other boarders from around here, that could show us some sweet place to ride.

We're actually planning on riding some garages tomorrow in downtown OKC if it's as sunny as it was today. We go to church at 9am at frontline on broadway between 6th and 7th and we will ride right afterwards around 10:30 so if anyone wants to meet us in the parking lot across the street from frontline church bring your board and lets go. We've been riding on sundays for a while and have never had problems with anyone so far, downtown is usually pretty empty that early and everything is closed since it's sunday. Hope you can make it out!

    ANYONE EVER RODE THESE SWITCHBACKS?
    Medicine Park, OK

Drops almost 300ft in .44 miles. Steep grade off the frontside of the mountain, quick switchbacks maybe 30-40 yds between them. Looks Gnarley

I was there Monday, rain and no board, business instead. The pic doesn't do this run justice. Its MEAN looking. I'm currently looking for some onsite pics my phones camera is broke. I'll update if I find some.

At the starting point of that run... there's a church at the top of the hill that looks like this

You'll know your at the finish line when you see the wooden bike trail sign.

The road is called Big Rock Rd. I wrode the hill a long time ago on my sisters razor scooter... I was going so fast the rear wheel on the scooter came apart on me and slide to a stop!
I would love to try it on my board.

Funny visual . . . you riding a razor on that hill.

If you want to re-live it, I've got a scooter that I'll trade you for a board! Bwwaahhaaaahaaa.

I'm pretty sure it's against the law to mention Austin in an Oklahoma thread the day before the Red River Rivalry!
