I've got a full quiver that I'm not scared to share. Looking for riders of all experience levels including "NO experience." If you want to ride, I'm out every day that's not raining. Found a possible 40+ mile hill, and various neighborhoods for sweet quick turns and switchbacks. Also hit up nice smooth cruisable roads for beginners or the chill folks.
Right now, it's just me, 2 coworkers, and a close friend who are riding. I know of two other guys BC Boards that ride, but we haven't gotten the chance to hook up yet.
If anyone sees this. Just give me a pm on here, and I'll shoot you my contact info.
Know of any spots in Lincoln ? We're selling the house here in Albuquerque and moving back to Nebraska, so I'm trying a little pre - move recon !
Thanks !
Lincoln is reaaally flat. Actually, everything west of Omaha is really flat. I took my boards there a couple times while visiting friends, and it's ok if you like flatland cruising/pushing. Omaha's a 45 minute drive, so if you're ever here and I'm not deployed (leaving AGAIN in a couple weeks) we could definitely skate. xAbermanx is here in Omaha, too. There's some cool neighborhoods by his campus.
Sorry by the way, Abe. I never got back to you. I'm in between deployments and temporary duties all the time lately, and I've hardly had any free time to get out of bellevue when I'm home. I'll definitely hit you up, though, once I can get some leave in the area.
She said there were all kinds of hills in Lincoln. Hmmmm.......
My stepson is in the 1074th Transportation Unit out of N.Platte. They just got back earlier this year, but ya never know, they might run over there again.
Jaxx, stay safe man. Will catch up with ya someday once we get the house sold and moved up there.

If you want some decent hills, I suggest coming over here to Bellevue when you get here.
The areas along the Missouri River have fast, short runs with some pushing in between.
There's actually some insanely gnarly hills where I've been skating lately. It's just down the street from my house! But I've been too scared of the hills until now. My skill level's finally reached the point where I can survive. Knowing how to pendy and foot brake at 30+ is a must for most of this place. And you can't be scared of rough roads either. My co-worker and I take turns spotting for each other down the blind turns.
The place is called Fontenelle Hills. Insane runs.
People from out of state (and in-state for that matter) would never believe they were in Nebraska if they saw this place.
So stoked, but it always happens like this. I have to leave right when I start skating in a new spot. Oh well, something to really look forward to when I get back. And inspiration for me to do some hardcore wall-sits, squats, running, and various weight-training while I'm deployed.
Welcome to Nebraska! when you get here.
