Word. This is my first post on this site here and just givin a shout out for Sioux Falls, SD. Any other SoDak Longboarders out there post up (this may be a long shot).

Hey, Just moved to Sioux falls... NEED SOME LB PEOPLE!!! I am from Colorado and have been skating there for about ten years and then i moved to Minneapolis and have skated there for a few years now... What the story in sioux falls????

I haven't had the pleasure to ride around in Sioux Falls although it looks alot better then up here in Brookings, hardly any hills just flatness.

just a little bit away north of Omaha NE. Hows the skating up there?

I havent had the chance to do much skating there, but the town is very hilly and has some decent looking side streets to ride down. I konw that once this snow melts thats where im going to be spending most of my weekends skating, I think that there is some massive potential to find some good runs there...

On another note hows the boarding down in Omaha, pretty decent?

Depends on when it is. There is some awesome parking garages downtown, there is some good hills, (like west maple etc) but you have to do them late at night when there is not a ton of cars and you are at risk of getting ticketed. Otherwise there is some good ones but you have to do some searchin. No huge long cruises sadly. (or at least that I have been able to spot.)

Yeah boarding at night is a must for sure, as I said before not too familiar with Soo Foo, but im 90% positive you could find a good couple runs. I'm hoping for a sporatic winter like last so I can get in my fair share of lb'ing and snowboarding.

Yeah I've still been LBing even in the snow. There is a steep hill in the small town I live in that I decided to do a slide sesh while it was snowing the other night haha. What I want to find is a heated parking garage that is not entirely locked haha.

Ya man there are good runs here in Sioux falls, now with the ice and gravel there is sh"" for skating, I haven't chanced the garages localy yet but i will soon. I just drove through omaha a few days ago and there looked to be some good skating there!

What kind of speeds you get on those hills in SD? The Black Hills and the Badlands need to be explored in NE and SD. One day my friends

Hey guys whats up!!!? Me and a few Omaha riders are wanting to take a trip this spring. We are looking for some epic runs!! Who up there knows about any of that? Us Omaha boys have a thread that we speak on quite a bit. Y'all need to check it out there will be some events we will be hosting this summer hope you can join. But back to the topic, us Omahaians don't know much about those hills up in S.D. but do kbow that thete is somr crazy s*** there. We all need to get together and do this. Can't wait to hear back!!!
