UMSL (University of Missouri St. Louis) Boarders

Hey, I'm going to be attending UMSL this spring (only one semester though) and I was looking for some boarders to go cruising with and such. I wanted to skate downtown St. Louis or where ever. I dont know the area at all though so was looking for people that know the area and know where not to skate and where the best places are and just wanna chill in general.

For the most part i just like cruising and stuff but i own a speedboard and woundnt mind using it more (i've only done a couple hills on it with almost no turns) I also woundn't mind learning how to slide but for the most part i use my boards to commute and get to classes. I also do distance runs sometimes. Was actually considering going from Boston to California this summer.

Weather and work are keeping me mostly indoors lately. Thursday's supposed to be (relatively) nice for this time of year, though--in the 50s. So if you have transpo, check out Forest Park for cruising around. The bike path has decent pavement, and there are some decent cruiser hills throughout the park (by the Jewel Box, Zoo and Art Museum). Traffic's not bad, and I've only been hassled there one time in the last four or five years.
