    Default Fargo/Moorhead Longboarding

I have a few boards to go boarding with and I enjoy throwing frisbee in campus parking lots. I have a portable frolf net to bring with as well.
I'll be around for a while so I plan on starting a longboarding club with MSUM and NDSU.

I am from Moorhead and longboard as well as play ultimate and frisbee golf. I have a basket as well and I love to whip it out when I have nothing better to do. The club would be an awesome idea; but sadly, I'm still in high school... Next year I'll be at MSUM for college so I'll definitely hit it up if it happens

I don't frolf much but I longboard all the time. I also have a number of buddies who live in FM (I go to school at MSUM) that love to longboard also. Are there any good downhill spots? I am from Bismarck which has a number of nice hills. I know there is a parking garage by the Moorhead Mall. Any other ideas?

there are some garages and some fun trails, but it's relatively flat. I think the biggest hill would have to be the one by el zagal golf course in north fargo, and that is tiny... Regardless of the lack of hills, I have a good time pumping away on my new original apex 37. It's super fun, but a hassle to keep them clean.

Whats up guys. I can't believe I havent seen this thread yet. I have a bunch of buddies who all longboard. Also me and a couple others build decks. Any of you go to NDSU? I am not on main campus much because I'm a Landscape Architecture major, all of my classes are downtown. Although, I see plenty of longboarders around!

I know the best garage in town is the bank of the west garage downtown. Fastest and the most fun. The moorhead mall garage is still full of mud at the bottom, atleast it was last time i drove by there.

At the end of May, a few guys in my "crew" are going to duluth for the outlaw. We went last fall and it was an awesome time. We have plenty of spots left in our vehicle (4?), so if any of you want to go just pm me or something!

If not, we should try and get a crowd to go to one of the garages sometime!

I definitely need to get out of Fargo this summer and road trip or something. I would be all in favor for going to Duluth, but since I am still in high school, I have finals and don't get out till June 5th. Next year is a different story however since I'll be in college. .secrets just send me a pm whenever you want to go skate. I work quite a bit so I may not be able to go, but soon I won't be working mondays and thursdays so hit me up

Too late for this year but I would love to get a group together from the NDSU, MSUM, and Concordia (A few boarders there) and go skate. I went to the Duluth outlaw and had a blast, now all I want to do is get a group together and shred!

    See you in the fall!
    Love.

In the winter There are heated underground garages Across the street from the Y by the skate park i think those would be good to. And Merit Care Has a huge parking ramp...Pretty sick

I found out about THIS from a guy at SK8 at West Acres. Went there and picked up a 5 foot dancer board. Really great. Makes my other long boards look small now. Have only had it for a couple of days but sure enjoy it. Nice board and glad to buy a local one.

I'm from Winnipeg and glad to see long boarding becoming more popular on the plains. About time people realized that you dont' need hills to enjoy riding one.

Hey I'm looking at getting one of their dancers soon. Currently I'm riding a 47" Goddess by S9. I was just wondering what you thought of the flex/handling abilities and the length in general. I've never ridden anything that long but it looks like a blast.
