noobs looking for affordable gear (Phils)

Gentlemen (and ladies),

Some members of our climb group Org-A.S.M. meet weekly in UP Diliman for some photography, biking and frisbee. We see a lot of kids/not-so-kids longboarding. Long story short, a bunch of us would really like to try out it out. Can anyone recommend where we can get 2-4 noob-friendly 2nd-hand longboards complete set at low cost (maybe 6k and below)?

Thought about posting this on the WTB thread but we dont know anything about gears and what to ask for. Thanks!

Thanks Kurdt, Omeng 1925 and con_tach... We will check out bombproof. Raphael's site seem promising sana available pa ung mga items nya. There's me and 3 girls buying and the girls are hesitant to buy unless the rest buys too... so you can imagine the difficulty in coordinating the purchase.

Been to Skate of the Nation a few weeks ago and there are lots of great stuff there but kinda pricey for the girls. I'll definitely go back there for future gear once the addiction kicks in.

I just sold my board! haha when the addiction kicks in so does the expenses. If I hear about second hand boards I'll hit you guys up.

I still have both S9's. The mini and the other slide/pool board. Ive sold the fluid surf and the Brad edwards. FYI.

Its good to know you posted before buying! It's always good to know what it is you're getting into before pulling the trigger on a board (or 4).
