    I'm going to a BBQ for a few hours so I might not be able to make it Saturday until like 4-6 so I will let Josh and Forrest take the lead on good spots to hit up! What kinda sesh were you guys looking to have? I could teach everyone how to do slides on Sunday if you guys want.

    Forest, did you still have that popsicle deck? I have an extra set of earthwing slide-a wheels and tracker trucks to set it up with.

    What's going on guys. Name's Shane, been on island for a little over a year. Just started longboarding a couple months ago, and I really dig it.

    I agree with RichardCranium on the blue choice.

    Thanks for all the great photo comments guys! I don't think they are all that great, but thanks anyway. I would really like to do some more shoots at the next sesh...and skate more hopefully without destroying my shoulder...

    The shirts look great! and Manny you should bring the Vanguard when we're doing the light stuff (like the Seawall) until the wheels get broken in. I've heard great things about those freerides to you're missin out!

    Nate-- I still have that popsicle deck, it has a set of trucks (Chargers I think), but I'd like to try out those wheels if you don't mind

    All my wheels and one of the boards just got here. Hopefully, the rest comes this week. If so, I'll bring as much of the quiver as possible for people to try out different setups and whatnot, and just in case some people show up who don't have boards but want to ride.
    I'm gonna ride a bit down Sunabe to Mihama if anyone wants to come. I'm riding from my house here by Sunabe.

    Are you talking about the one behind the schools near where I live or the one outside the Habu Trail?

    I think he means the one behind the schools. It goes down pretty steep at the top, then has a short less-steep part, then steep again. It's by the residences on the other side of the elementary school.
    That's sounds like a fun sesh. We could get some sliding in over there, too.
    Also, I've heard of some sick spots on Lester. Someone mentioned a road around the edge of Lester that's car-free like the Habu trail. Maybe someone could scout it this week.

    Oh yeah, I think I know which ones you're talking about. That would be a fun ride.

    I didn't even try them out yet, but here's what I got from looking at the used ones from the previous sesh, trying them on, and from talking to the guys who used them.....

    They're made of neoprene (fall apart); the palm "puck" placement is waaay too high; the finger caps are not durable and thinner than expected; the finger caps tear off; the roller balls in the palm heat up waay quick; and most people said the the gloves in general tended to make your hand "get away from you" or slide out.

    Overall....I'd give them an A++...
    uh, just kidding

    Late night sesh for anyone who might be down! Should be starting at around 11:30 and we will be cruising the seawall at Sunabe. There are 3 or 4 of us going.
