Hey jaxx,

I go to one of the high-schools on Oki, and there's some decent runs here on-base (Habu-Trail). There's also some great roads off-base, but there's always a lot of traffic

As far as a longboarding "scene" goes...I haven't come across much, I think I'm one of two kids at school that owns a board. As far as the airmen/marines go there seem to be a few people here and there that longboard, but I don't know any personally-- just seen them around.

My bad, yea I am here on the rock. We should def establish a longboard scene. I have met about 5 longboarders since I got here and have most of their contact info, just never got around to getting something organized.

Oh, and BeebOH I probably saw you one time driving by the high school. I don't know if you remember me or not. I remember because it looked like a vanguard you were riding but it wasn't -- if that was you? This was a while back.

Me and my boys all Longboard here in Okinawa. I got a hot tip that they close off Kokisai Street in Naha on Sundays and the cops don't care if you weave the cones. If you interested in bar hopin on your board with us lemme know.

Great sesh today! I'll get some pics up soon. On my way to the fireworks display tonight I saw two longboarders on the sidewalk adjacent to 58 more near Foster gate. Tried to hollar out my window but he was jammin on his headphones and the other one apparently couldn't hear....so yea seeing more and more for sure!

The name's Caleb and I reside on Okinawa as well.
I have recently been addicted to the longboarding scene by my good friend who goes by BeebOH.

I'm definately looking forward to starting up, and my friend tells me the users here are great for advice.
All I really need to do now is get a board. ;D
