We can go early, like meet at 12 or 1? I will email out everyone's contact info and well just stay on Kadena for a while and eventually do an off base run just to make the OLA presence known! haha, just playin but I have some cool photo ideas if your down. I don't know about the freerides...just what they look like and that they are "pre" broken in. Still getting them though, not just based on the hype but because I need a new set for the dervish. Hold off until I grab a set and see how you like them.

Update: 11:20 AM Rainy and windy morning but has since cleared up! Scheduled start time pushed up to 1-2 given the weather conditions continue to improve.

We start at 2...It is beautiful outside. I'll call everyone up. For anyone reading who wants to come we will be starting off with a lot of habu runs just until some people show up and then go over where to go off base. Although Habu Run is mad fun it may have wet spots due to the shade.

I might have to hit up that ditch sometime this week around 3-4 if anyone's interested. Is there some special name for it so we can refer to it correctly haha

Hey Caleb, do you have any extra mounting hardware for trucks? I wanna throw some risers on but I don't have any hardware that will work

I plan on hitting up the ditch on Friday after work, then seeing how fast I can take the 90 corner at the bottom of the wide run. My legs are going to be jello; we run to the end of the Habu trail from the Fitness center and back as a squadron on Fridays--something like 5-6 miles? Gah!
I've got a slalom setup to try at the ditch, and I'm bringing cones too.
As for hardware, the tacklebox probably has something

I was thinking about hitting it and the Habu run while my little one is in preschool from 12:30 to 3. Unfortunately that's the only time I can do it during the week, on Tues and Thurs.

I just call it Kadena Ditch. It's not fancy or creative, just practical. Like a locally famous ditch I grew up skating in my home town of Bedford, TX. It was known as the Bedford Ditch. Nothing else really fit.

I got myself a 4 day weekend for this weekend so if anyone wants to do some cruising hit me up on my celly. also for the "of age" peeps i do a lot of late night cruising around the bars and pumpin the G-Bag full blast. hit me up if you wanna get ur drank on.

I dont think Ill get down to Okinawa this summer, as the plane ticket will be a bit too expensive from Osaka, but I might go around your place SoCalBiz...
I know riders who are not far from Yokohama so since I'll meet them up... We could ride together...

Kadena Ditch, Friday afternoon!

The weather's been so nice I might just have to throw some pads on my daughter and take her skateboarding. Besides we didn't buy her that Arbor bamboo pocket rocket for her third birthday for nothing!

Believe it or not she actually asked me to go skateboarding at 7am this morning. She asked me to go to the skatepark (which I've only taken her to a few times, and not recently). Unfortunately I had to say no, the park doesn't open till 10. And besides, 7 in the morning is too early to do anything besides eat breakfast or sleep as far as I'm concerned. But I need to encourage that mini-model stoke! So we might just go check the ditch out tomorrow.
