Anyone skating in south korea?

DUDES!!! im not sure if their is a longboarding scene in South korea but I am going to Korea on oct 13 through oct 25th. My parents probably wont let me take a board but Im really trying to push to bring one.

Is there anyone who skates out there? I know it's super crowded so it might not even be worth it. But i think it might be fun to have. Im going to be staying mainly at my grandpas apartment in ilsan and Im pretty sure im going to be bored most of the time because I have no friends in korea and mostly old cousins there. And my dad and grandpa are super super strict and probably won't let me go out by myself. But just wondering about the scene!

Went to Seoul a year ago...
Lots of fun and lots of possibilities downhill wise
Now, you gotta like to slalom in between traffic if you cruise downtown Seoul, but it's fun

Im going to Seoul in august and staying for a full semester, and Im stoked to meet people who are longboarding there. Downhill and cruising ofc

Ahh Korea.

There are some sweet spots but nowhere to buy gear. I (by chance) met a guy with a longboard so we have some sessions at Yangyang International Airport, it's less than 5 yrs old and abandoned, it truly is amazing! You've just gotta avoid holiday season as there are too many cars. The rest of the year it's clear.

I have a board in Korea and looking for some skating buddies. If you are still here, I'd love to skate around sometime, and slalom some traffic up in Seoul maybe.

i am headed to daegu soon. hows the scene out there? good sstreet skating, traffic surfing? i am from new york city and like it crazy. push....

There are some longboarders in Busan. I live close to gwanali beach. If you ever come to Busan give me a heads up. And if anyone is living in Busan that would be sweet!

Hey oneorangecap I just moved to Gwangalli about 5 weeks ago. I don't have a board with me and was wondering if you knew of anywhere to pick one up. I tried the skate shop in Gwangan, but they just have street boards. I heard that there might be a shop in Sujeong?

Hey that is true. there is a surf shop at sujoeung beach (east of jangsang) where you can order longboards. the thing is that they will only come when they place there order for the season. I missed it by a week or two this fall so i ordered mine thru daddiesboards. There are a few of my friends here as well that skate and a once you have a board we should skate together. I live in samick beach. Again your best bet to get a good board is just to order it off the internet.

Hey me and a friend will be staking in Busan this saturday. If there have been any longboarders waiting for nice weather, wait no longer. we will be skating saturday afternoon. will start up in the PNU area and go from there.

That's a great idea. We should go out and skate together.
