Tired of paying too much for imported gear - Bestboards is coming to Mindanao

Hey guys. Im sure everyone is bitching about the weak peso and expensive gear in the philippines. So we have a solution to your problem. We're moving to davao early next year and we are bringing in whatever stock we have left in NZ along with some fresh components for all you skaters. The solution to super expensive decks will be revealed once we are there - surprise surprise. See you early 2009 and start getting ready for more events. A skatepark will also be ready (if all things go as planed) between late 2009 and mid 2010. Venue is still a secret.

Our boards will be focused more on what works best in the philippines. as much as i love flexy decks like loaded, i found they dont work as well on the rougher roads like the stiffer decks do. so stiffer, lower decks will be our staple as opposed to flexy decks, which off course will be available too. hit us with your comments and suggestions so we may better serve you.

Best of luck to all of you on the WH races. Good job Carlos. Bummer we didnt get to meet during my short stay in manila.

P.S. Nach, too bad I didnt get to skate with you while you were here as well... but I'll be headed over to NZ and Aus sometime in June of 2009. Will you be there? I actually wanted to skate some spots as well... I hear Mt. Panorama in Bathurst (Aus) is a great place. They hold the Newtons PLayground Race there... Have you ever been?

wala pa akong reply from kebbek. at the moment meron akong demonseed, avenger at nemesis. kukuha rin ako ng LY evo, drop speed, chinook, and one or 2 other decks from LY.

Im hoping to bring kebbek. let me know what other things you guys like. ill do my best to bring it in.

mt panorama i hear is very intense. super fast. maryhill i think is an easier hill but go for it. let us know how it goes. hope to catch you in alabang before you leave. i should be there before then.

dude, the slide a's are perfect for these smooth asphalt roads. not sure how they would work on the alabang roads though. what decks are you guys interested in. im placing my order for LY decks soon. anyone interested in LY decks please let me know.

rayne will be in for sure - hellcat, nemesis, demonseed and avenger. not too sure on the original trucks. ill look into it.
