I'm looking into buying venom supercarve bushings bushings and I am wondering what doro to get.
Thanks in advance
"Riding Style :cursing/carving/dancing" You shouldn't curse your board! Try the 85a standard Venoms. The barrels provide stability and the cones yield lots of lean. They're buttery good.

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
Hey guys I need some help. I'm trying to figure out what to get so I can tell my family the different parts in case they want to get me a few of them for Christmas. I'll mostly be doing campus/flatland cruising.
Let me know if you can think of better parts, basically going for tight turning / (relatively) short distance cruising.
Flex (1or2): 2
Trucks: paris 180mm
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): none
Risers (lowerers'): (would the risers that come with the paris trucks work well for lowering for cruising?)
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): lime bigzig (would it help to have something softer?)
Bearings: idk just going to pick up some standard abec 5's i guess, lots of water down here so I'll probly have to replace them often anyway.
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): campus / flatland cruising
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): street / sidewalk
Other wheels used:
Miscellaneous:
Forgot to say I weigh 135, going to try to hit 150 soon. 5'11"

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
Flex (1or2): 2
Trucks: Paris 180mm
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): Venom Standard 85a
Risers (lowerers'): Hard 1/8 Inch
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): Orange O-tang In Heats
Bearings: Swiss Labyrinth
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): Everything and anything
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): Mostly street; occasionally garages or Lansdowne
Other wheels used: Pink Big Zigs
Miscellaneous: I got the OG Dervish soon after it first came out. My Derv is almost dead - It has the cracks/white marks, the nose and tail are worn down almost to the drop through hole, it's all delamed on the sides, and the top ply is coming off. I have thrashed this board for a long time and continue to do so daily. I love it.

That's a great setup except that if you do go with the Paris 180s you NEED to upgrade the bushings. Venom bushings work great with the Paris. Some people prefer Khiro double barrels. As far as risers go, you could put in a small shock pad if you wanted to but it's not absolutely necessary. Lime Big Zigs are great for cruising.

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
I know it's kind of late now, but if you are going to gain weight, I would suggest the flex 1 unless you want a very flexy board.
Good luck nonetheless.

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
So I'm getting a dervish flex 1 for christmas, and I plan on setting it up with some chargers. I do cruising and carving and a good amount of garage drifting. I am trying to choose a nice all around wheel for this sort of riding. I'm considering powerballs and 83a 4 presidents. I'm assuming that the powerballs will be more drifty due to the smaller contact patch, right? If anyone has any preferences or recommendations that would be sweet. Also, why is it that the in heats are so much more popular than 4 presidents when it comes to the dervish?
