Nevermind, of course they are. Do people recommend gripping the Dervish? Or ride out it's stock grip-material first?

Hey,
i slipped once while doing a standup slide, dont know if it was me or the grip of the dervish.
i had some griptape left so i thought why not, some pieces of normal griptape give you all the grip you need. IMO it's a cool way to customize your board too.

Yeah, have done custom grip jobs on my regular skateboards (some decent ones too if I might say! :P). Do you sand off the existing grip surface first?

I've been thinking of putting indy 215s on my dervish for a while now, if I can find a set for a relatively cheap price I think I'll try it.

I put a set of Independent 215s on my dervish as a joke. It ruined the performance. It was to low to roll over gutters and it needed two full lanes to u-turn. Other than that it's a great idea.

I have taken it up to about 25mph. But even there it's a bit out of hand.

Bushings (make, model, color/duro): 79a Orange Khiro Bitch Bushings with extra nylon flat washer
Risers (lowerers'): paper thin washer (1 per bolt)
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): Abec11 66mm/88a Strikers
Bearings: Random Abec7 with removable rubber shields
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): Dancing/Boardwalking, Sliding, Bowls, Cruising, Carving, LDP/Commuter
