Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
I have gullwing alpine trucks. Not exactly sure on the measurement but I think about 9". I think they are randal clones (reverse kingpin). Will they work with a dervish?

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
I weigh 165 and use a flex 2. I considered getting a flex 1, but decided against it. It's all what you are looking for. Flex 1= stiffer, snappier flex, more stable. Flex 2= livelier when cruising/commuting, still good rebound and stability. It's up to you

I'd personaly go stiffer, I have a flex 1 and 2 ( I know its stupid I have both, but its a long story)
the flex 2 is really fun, but the flex 1 is just alot better feeling because the snap and you can do alot more without bottoming out.

i'm 160 and have a flex 1, it still gives quite a bit but not nearly as much as a 2 would. obviously.

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
i was standing on the flex 1 at the skateshop but it felt a little stiff and they didnt have the flex 2 in. the flex 3 vanguard was feeling pretty good though. im thinking i should just flip a coin, or get fatter. dam, i need a flex 1.5 dervish!

if you ride the flex 1 in it'll give more, just depends the kind of riding you do> like my friend just got a dervish flex 2 new, and I compared the flex to my flex 2 (beaten to #### ) and his was like a worked in flex 1, and mine is like a flex 4 vanny and I only weight about 140

thanks
you have to take the truck apart to mount it, as in unscrew the kingpin so you have the hanger and the baseplate separate, then take the baseplate and put in through the top of the cut out on the board facing down, then you screw in all in and put the hanger back together with the baseplate

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
Would you guys compare a flex 1 to a raine vice? Just the amount of flex not the shape or anything.

I heard the vice is snappier? also that the dervish is all around better for tricks, but the vice handles carving/carving at speed a tad better (not my opinion, never tried a vice, other peoples I've heard)

Re: Official Loaded Dervish Setup Database v2.0
Updated:
Flex (1or2): 2
Rider Weight: 209 lbs
Trucks: Paris 180 Black modified with 3" Grade 8 Kingpins
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): Khiro Triple Stack (Front:Orange Top, White Barrel, White Barrel. Rear: Red Top, Blue Barrel, Red Barrel) with Khiro Cup Washers.
Risers (lowerers'): 1/32' washers, 2 on each bolt to lower it past the raised letters.
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): BigZig Limes
Bearings: Black Panther Swiss
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): Cruising, Carving, LDP, Light DH, Learning to slide.
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): Track, Multi-Use Trails, Street
Other wheels used: Gumballs 78a/76mm, and Lemon BigZigs
Miscellaneous: The triple stack bushing setup gives me tons of options and I found a great pumping setup with them. Only problem is the threads tend to chew on the softer bushings when pumping. But that is expected.
