    Default Noob question

    so i what is the difference between ldp and slalom setups? like i said, i'm a total noob at both so anything will help haha

    someone once told me that a pumping setup is super easy to get going without pushing. and a slalom setup will propel you to higher speeds, but needs speed to pump.

    Skyliner basically had it right.
    Both setups are designed for pumping, but slalom setups are dialed in better for those higher speeds and super tight zig zags through cones.

    very generally speaking.. ldp set ups have a longer wheelbase, a deck with some flex, wider trucks, maybe softer wheels. they both pump, but an ldp is not designed to pump fast, it's designed to pump far, with more efficiency and comfort. slalom set ups are for speed.
