    Default Hardware Grinding into Baseplate?

I discovered this morning that my hardware has imprinted/ground into my baseplate. I was wondering if this is critical damage and if I need to purchase a new baseplate? Or if it indicates that I have too much pressure on the hardware, resulting in too much torque?

It's not critical. You cas repair it with JB Weld and a drill press... but it's not that big of a deal. Maybe considering this happened on Cindy plates. lol.

This happened because there was slope between the hardware and the trucks. It's what happens when you didnt tighten your hardware down all the way. Risers/Shockpads caused the trucks to slip around when you carve. The hardware was probably bent when you took it off. Try running nylon washers on the mounting hardware, combined with steel washers and nylock nuts.

    What board was this on?
