Those trucks are different brands. Have not ridden either but pretty much all trucks will slide.
My two cents, often illegible bullshit.

Totally different. X-Caliber was around like 20+ years ago and are trying to make a come back. Calibers are a newer company and are the ones that are more popular on the fish. Calibers (50 and 44) are awesome trucks btw. I haven't tried x-calibers though.

What makes you say the X-Calibers sucked? Carve got some in and they look pretty legit.

I thought X-Caliber was made by the same company that does...Gunmetal or Caliber, whichever goes on Madrid boards.
yes, an uber-grippy, square-lipped slalom wheel IS the best for sliding

X-Caliber, Caliber, and Gunmetal have nothing to do with each other. At all.

No, they're different. Gunmetal V2s are refined versions of gunmetals.

Oh man...I ordered some calibers 50 from skatesonhaight, but they sent me Madrid X-Calibers. Because on their site the their X-Calibers had the picture of the Calibers 50. So I'm pretty pissed off.
