IndeeSZ are fun, and if I know I'm just going to be toodling around and not go fast I'll take them out. Usually I'll DH, slide, cruise, carve and anything else I feel like in the same sesh when in the neighborhood, so I like the cRonins so I can bomb a few hills too without switching boards. They do it all!! my IndeeSZ get very little ride time now.

Whoever is telling you that has defiantly not taken a set of ronins for a spin. cRonins are like taking all the good things about your bears amplified 10x and all the bad things are nonexistent. Get them. If you don't like them then sell them to me lol

Coming from a person who owns both trucks that I'm looking at. Ok. I guess I'm pretty much convinced that cronins will b rad! All multi purpose truck!

Downside I keep reading is the weight.

I have both Indeesz and Cronins and would definitely recommend Cronins for more all-round fun.

I use my Indeesz mostly for sliding fun only, and are super fun for that, crazy turny and responsive.

Sliding feels good to me, and I didn't have to adjust much really. As for pumping, that's not something I do outside slalom.
IMO pumping requires a more specialised setup.

They're a very grippy truck, but slide well with a little extra juice. I think they pump quite well with their instant initiation and getting a lower angle rear plate really brings the power.

sliding on Cronins isnt as smooth as their big brother but its still a great feeling! ive been riding my 150mm casts on a rayne homewrecker and they slide like a champ, but they also grip well too at 45mph on venom balls on runs like claremont/centenial! it takes a lil getting used to the grip to slip ratio IMO but its well worth it cause cast ronins are super fun and reliable.

Depends on what sort of pumping you want to do. I have the front CRonin at +8 deg on one carving board and it pumps extremely well on the flat as long as I get it up to a reasonably fast push speed first. Forget trying to go up a slight hill or pumping at a casual pace with this set up though.
    Crazy carving set up though.

Sector 9 stupidly insists on drilling everything new school only. Cast ronins are old school only. Drilling the board is really easy. Bolt your bear baseplates on to the deck and drill through the outer holes of the bears that don't have bolts in them. Use a drill bit that fits through the bear baseplate holes easily and then you can make the holes bigger after taking the baseplates off with a bigger bit if you need to.

I'll have to do just that! Will it cause the neck of my board to just break off? Hahaha..

Instead lf putting it on my mini shaka, I tired it on another board!
    Bustin maestro miniv2 drop thru..
Not too sure if the cronins are meant for drop thrus. Hahah.. the board is so much lower now.. and the angle of turns I can make are so much. The only thing now is, I keep hearing ratling sounds while cruising. Cant be the trucks or the bushings. Could it be the spaces? Or the
Cylindrical thingy we put between our bearings?

Cronins work great dropped through. It's most likely your baseplate nuts rattling, check if they are snug enough. Could be the bushing washer as well.

for some reason i have a lot of slop in my trucks, the pivots seem kinda small, one had a huge void in it and I've been riding it as is but it is kinda wonky. the slop seems to come from the support pin moving side to side in the delrin sleeves, i changed them out for new ones but it didn't help. thoughts?

Pivot tubes are suspect number one. Get a couple new ones from Riot or Riptide.
