    Default the "copy" cat

    well this is my fourth board i basically wanted a hell cat so i decided to build one
    it is five layer of bb with a bitchload of concave. it makes my evo seem like it has bouncy flex i mean this #### is rock solid 0 flex, check it out let me know what you think

    i dig, but did you just tape off those letters for the graphic? you may consider stencils next time, cleaner results.

    looks nice but maybe a new bottom graphic, get a friend to draw a picture or something

    yeah i just taped them off. it was more or less just a trial run of the new shape in my press
    i just wanted to ride it. wasnt to concerned about the bottom

    5 layers of how thick, 1/8"? and exactly how much concave is that? looks liek almost 3/4" :o

    Looks good. What is the wb and how much do you weigh? I'm about to do a similar project and want to know whether 5 layers needs any glass or carbon.

    yes, it is 1/8" bb the i dont know exactly how much concave but it is somewere around 3/4' its a shitload but i love the feel.

    the wb is 40" im pretty shure, and i weight 220 on a good day lol

    the wheelbase is 40"?!?!? i think you got your numbers wrong of that is an optical illusion of a picture

    yeah just from looking at it, it looks more like your board length is closer to 40 and your wb is somewhere around 30-35

    #### i was waaaay off the full length is 41.25" and the wb is exactly 33"

    its a dam beefy board, almost weights as much as my evo
    i made the press(credit to dimm) out of foam and some old two by twleve i had lying around
    here is a pic


    i have sanded it down a bunch since these pics were taken, but you get the idea
    also tossing around the idea of building a drop press so i can make a copy d seed

    im also looking to make a possible drop board using the dimm method, and excuse me being a noob and not knowing much about it, but when u press it, do u put all the layers of the 1/8 BB in the press at once or do u press some of it, and then add more?

    i made a similar board. 5 ply 1/8 inch baltic birch. I think its about 44 inches with a little over an inch of concave. Its a little heavy but i like it.
