hey guys,

just thought id let you all know about a new builder based in london, UK, and show you some of thier stuff!

'Xiphos' topmount speedboard:
wood:

carbon balsa core:

'Tengu' dropped with 10 degree front wedge

long distance pusher:

'stealth' double drop

they have also made several slide decks and crusiers, check out the website dangerousdecks.co.uk and let me know what you think of the boards!

Oooh maybe I'll get in on this thread too...

The Tengu is RAD. The 'wings' at the back give you mad leverage.

The pusher looks like this now...

Got to say AMAZING finishes on these boards... The grain ahhh the grain!

Will post up better pictures of the Tengu shortly...

Ps I ride for Dangerous so may be biased, they ROCK.

Hmm we'll have to ask our man Franky about pics of the 'stealth', he's off riding mad Euro freerides. Should seem him at the Eastbourne IGSA race though and hopefully get some more shots!

I actually might be interested in one of that "xiphos" deck some time. I actually drew something up that looks REALLY similar to it.

All the boards still look amazing.

well if you want to try and get them stateside email them at dangerousdecks1@aol.com and ask, the more interest there is the more likely it is for some to get shipped over! perhaps if a few people wanted them they could be shipped over together to save money. who knows!

I took mah Tengu out to a freeride hill yesterday and was playing around with 180s. the wings at the back really help you get the leverage needed. I reckon with a dewedge under the front truck it would take away the slight rake and angle then you'd have a nice spinny freeridey standup board. Although even the way it is it seems to work pretty nicely. STOKED!

Ready for race testing next week... dun dun duuuhhh

Went our to a SERIOUSLY gnar bar hairpin this weekend. Steep, rough surface, covered in sand, cliff to fall off, potholes. The Tengu laughed at it and drifted round the corner very happily whilst emitting a fearsome screeching.

Went to Eastbourne IGSA race on the Dangerous decks this weekend. Tengu was riding really nicely. Unfortunately my skills let me down and I didn't qualify for the race due to a bad second qualifier. Laid down a respectable time though, so, stoked for my first real race!

I'm in the black leathers on the left, tuck tuck tuck!
